About me

Welcome to the Tim Werwie State Farm Agency!

With 11 years of experience as a State Farm Agent, I’m proud to continue a family legacy that has been part of the Kenosha community for 70 years. I grew up in Kenosha, Wisconsin, just a few blocks from where my second office is located. That office was actually built by my grandfather, Joe Werwie, in 1978, and my dad, Jerry, and Uncle Joe Werwie were all State Farm Agents at this same location in Kenosha. I attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

Today, I live in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, where my wife, Kelly, grew up. We’ve been happily married for 16 years and have three children: Titus, Lilly, and Oren. Outside of the office, I enjoy golfing, tennis, and spending time with my family. Kelly and I also enjoy going on walks and spending time together.

Becoming a State Farm Agent was a natural fit for me. I wanted to continue the legacy established by my grandfather, dad, and Uncle Joe, while also creating my own opportunity to help people. I love helping people, and being a State Farm Agent gives me the opportunity to do that each day. I’m also passionate about leadership and building a strong team.

Our agency offers Auto, Home, Renters, Condo, Personal Articles, Personal Umbrella, Business, Life, Disability, Pet Insurance, and recreational vehicle products. We take the time to get to know our customers and understand what is most important to them. Our approach is centered around being genuine, authentic, and honest in every interaction.

Building relationships is at the heart of what we do. We meet with our customers to learn about their individual needs and help them understand their insurance options. We also enjoy celebrating the people we serve by sending birthday and Thanksgiving cards each year.

I also hold my ChFC designation, reflecting my continued commitment to learning and growing in the insurance industry.

Being involved in our local communities is very important to our agency. We actively support the East Troy School District and provide support to local educational and community organizations. We also support Kenosha Bradford High School, are members of the East Troy Chamber of Commerce, and support organizations including Safe Families for Children of Wisconsin, Open Arms Free Clinic, and Camp Timber-lee.

Looking for a local State Farm agent in Kenosha? My office helps families and individuals throughout Kenosha and surrounding neighborhoods protect what matters most. From parents with young kids to grandparents with a growing family tree, I can help you explore life insurance and answer your questions. I also offer car insurance for your holiday road trips, plus home and renters insurance. Contact my Kenosha agency today.

Q: How is the replacement cost of my home calculated? A: Replacement cost is the estimated amount needed to rebuild your home from the ground up using current local material and labor costs. This is different from market value, which includes land value. Tim Werwie in Kenosha can calculate an accurate replacement estimate for your home.

Q: Does renters insurance cover my personal belongings when I am away from home? A: Yes! Personal property protection under a renters account generally follows you wherever you go, protecting items stolen from your car or lost during travel. Tim Werwie serves Kenosha and can explain how off-premises protection works.

Q: How do my beneficiaries receive a life insurance payout? A: When an account holder passes away, designated beneficiaries submit a claim along with a death certificate. The payout is usually delivered tax-free as a lump sum to help replace lost income, cover final life costs, or pay off debt. Tim Werwie in Kenosha is dedicated to helping local families navigate this process smoothly.

Q: Will filing a small claim cause my monthly rates to go up? A: Rate adjustments depend on the claim type, fault, loss severity, and your overall claim history. For small maintenance issues, paying out-of-pocket might make more sense than filing a claim. Tim Werwie in Kenosha can talk through scenarios before you officially submit a claim.
